SAN DIEGO–Detectives are investigating a University Heights peeping incident that occurred earlier this week.
On June 10, a female was taking a shower when she realized that she was being watched. She saw a male looking at her through her bathroom window, yelled at him and he ran away.
Officers determined that the suspect had gained access to a narrow walkway adjacent to the victim’s apartment. He placed a chair under her bathroom window, which is over 5 feet from the ground, presumably to get a better view into the victim’s bathroom.
The suspect is described as a white or possibly Hispanic male between 30 and 40 years of age. He is said to have a “smaller-framed face” with a “longer” nose and no facial hair.
At the time of the incident, he was wearing a dark blue shirt or jacket and some sort of dark colored beanie cap or hat that covered his hair.
Anyone with information about this case is encouraged to call the San Diego Police Department’s Western Division at (619) 692-4800 or San Diego County Crime Stoppers at (888) 580-8477.
