Suspect sought in attempted kidnapping

June 29, 2010 By Staff

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and Investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Central Division are asking for assistance from the public in identifying this suspect for an attempted kidnapping.

An unknown Hispanic male grabbed the arm of the victim, an 18 year old, while she was walking home from the bus stop at 200 West Grape Street.

The suspect exited a dark blue Toyota Camry, walked toward the victim, grabbing her arm and pulled her towards him.

The victim slashed at the suspect’s arm with her house keys and he let go. She ran home and called the San Diego Police Department.

There were two additional people in the suspect vehicle; a white male and a Hispanic male. There is no further description of them.

Investigators are asking anyone with information on the identity and or location of the person(s) responsible for this crime to call SDPD Central Division at (619) 744-9500 or the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at (888) 580-8477.
