SAN DIEGO–A man accused of a series pedestrian strong arm robberies was arrested by police at his residence without incident.
During the months of July and August, Mid-City 810’s detectives have been investigating a series of pedestrian strong arm robberies and grand theft cases where high end cell phones have been taken.
Detectives searched his residence and found evidence relating to the robberies. They also developed additional information that tied Chattman to other crimes that have yet to be reported to the police. Mid-City detectives are following up on those cases.
Chattman was booked into Central Jail for multiple counts of robbery, one count grand theft person, and a probation violation.
The investigation is continuing.
