SAN DIEGO–A Hispanic female adult Friday afternoon suffered fatal injuries after jumping off the south edge of the Balboa Avenue overcrossing at southbound I-805 in San Diego. The woman’s body was then struck in the number two lane by a 2010 Toyota Prius, causing moderate damage to the Prius’ right front fender. The driver, a resident of Los Angeles, was uninjured.
Traffic in the area was reduced to one lane for approximately 90 minutes for investigation of the incident. All freeway lanes were re-opened later in the afternoon.
