Oceanside, CA–Three people were displaced after a two-alarm residential structure fire damaged a three-story townhome Sunday in Oceanside, fire investigators said Monday.

Firefighters from Oceanside, Carlsbad, and Vista responded to the blaze shortly after 6 p.m. in the 2200 block of Via Blanca.

Although there were neighboring units connected to the involved townhome, fire crews were able to control the blaze to the residence with no fire spread.

No firefighters or residences were injured during the fire.

The Red Cross was called to provide accommodations for the displaced residents.

The cause and origin of the fire are currently under investigation by Oceanside Fire Department Duty investigators.
