SAN DIEGO–The Training Center, a state licensed residential drug and alcohol program, in collaboration with the City of San Diego Park and Recreation Department and the San Diego Police Department, will be sponsoring the Third annual Southeastern X-Fest on Oct. 12.
The free event will feature BMX bicycle and skateboard demonstrations, lowriders and vintage police cars, a pro-boxing demonstration, music, a rock climbing wall, clowns, bounce houses for the kids and local high school dance teams.
Professional skateboard stars Rodney Mullen, Jay Adams, Tony Magnusson, Kien Lieu, John Pope, and Dennis Martinez will be present to demonstrate the tricks and skills that made them famous.
The 11a.m. to 4 p.m event will be held at the Charles L. Lewis III Memorial Skate Park, 6610 Potomac Street in Paradise Hills.
