Sheriff’s Deputies Search For Suspects In Murder Of San Marcos Teen

SAN MARCOS–Crime Stoppers and investigators from the Sheriff’s Department’s homicide detectives are asking for assistance from the public to help identify and locate suspects wanted for the murder of a San Marcos teen.

On November 20, just before 1 p.m., 14‐year‐old Brandon Gonzalez was found shot in the 3500 block of De Leone Road in San Marcos. He died from his injuries in a hospital. The Medical Examiner says the cause of death is a gunshot wound to his upper torso.

Anyone with information on this homicide is asked to call the San Diego County Sheriff’s Homicide Detail at (858) 974‐2321, after hours call (858) 565‐5200. You can also call the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at (888) 580‐8477. Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to an arrest in this case.
