On October 9, just after 10 p.m., officers with the San Diego Police Department were dispatched to a family disturbance in the 3100 block of 39th Street in City Heights.
When officers arrived, family members were restraining 23-year-old Denny Jalate on the ground outside of their residence. Officers placed Jalate in handcuffs without incident.
