Sheriff Department Investigate Hit And Run

VISTA–A female pedestrian was injured today when a vehicle struck her at the intersection of East Vista Way and Taylor Street in Vista.

A passerby called the Sheriff’s Department to report the collision. The vehicle fled the scene northbound on East Vista Way towards Fallbrook.

The vehicle was described as being a smaller sedan, either dark grey or black, missing the right driver’s side mirror.

The unidentified female victim suffered moderate injuries. She is being treated at Palomar Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

No additional information is available at this time.
