Senior center to hold memory workshop

OCEANSIDE–The Oceanside Senior Center will hold a “Maximize Your Memory” workshop for all seniors.

The workshop is open to all who are interested in finding out more about memory matters. Although memory problems and loss of mental acuity can often occur at any age, a few lifestyle changes can greatly improve memory function.

Topics include:

· Identify the “types” of memory

· Recognize mental changes common with normal aging

· Learn several memory exercise

· Understand strategies for improving memory

The workshop will be held at the Oceanside Senior Center, 455 Country Club Lane from 1 to 3 p.m., Wednesday, May 19.
