Search Warrant Served At Empire Marijuana Dispensary

May 26, 2017 By sdcnews

SPRING VALLEY–Detectives Thursday morning assigned to the Rancho San Diego Station and the Special Enforcement Detail served a search warrant at the Empire marijuana dispensary in Spring Valley.

During the search of the dispensary, located in the 8600 block of Troy Street, detectives discovered evidence of marijuana sales and an unlawfully operating dispensary. An indoor marijuana grow was discovered at a second building on the same property and 300 plants were seized.

A search warrant was obtained and served at a residence on the same property. Inside the residence, detectives seized a large amount of marijuana, marijuana edibles, currency, and marijuana paraphernalia, as well as items used in the sales of marijuana.

During the investigation, four adults were arrested for the sale of marijuana.

County Code Enforcement, who was conducting a parallel investigation into the unlawful dispensary, gathered evidence for their investigation and inspected all three buildings for code violations.
