OCEANSIDE–Dr. Richard Lederer, a well known linguist, author, and columnist, will be the featured speaker at Mission Vista High School’s Timberwolves Foundation, “An Evening of Language, Laughter and Learning” fundraiser.
Lederer has published over 40 books about language, history and humor, including his best-selling Anguished English Series. His syndicated column, Lederer on Language, appears in various newspapers and magazines including the San Diego Union-Tribune. He is a founding co-host of, “A Way With Words” on KPBS Public Radio, and has been named winner of Toastmaster International’s Golden Gavel.
The program runs 7 to 8 p.m., February 4 at the campus auditorium, 1306 Melrose Drive in Oceanside. A book signing will follow Lederer performance.
