SAN MARCOS–The City of San Marcos will be presenting a free recreation expo on Saturday, January 8, 2011 from 9 a.m to 12 noon at the San Marcos Senior Center, 111 Richmar Avenue and from 12 noon to 3 p.m at the San Marcos Community Center, 3 Civic Center Drive, San Marcos.
The city offers hundreds of low cost classes and activities throughout the year. This expo will offer participants the opportunity to meet instructors and try classes for free. Program supervisors will be on hand with information about senior activities, sports, youth programs, aquatics, trails and hikes, and upcoming special events. Refreshments will be served and prizes drawings will be held throughout the day.
