SAN MARCOS–The city will be spreading the word that art is for everyone with the invitation to shop at vendor booths, view art demonstrations and displays, and participate in over 20 hands-on art projects at the 13th annual San Marcos Alive: Celebration of the Arts Street Fair.
Entertainment will include performances by local schools and music groups on two stages. This year’s event will also include a juried art show and a student art show.
The fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. October 24 at the San Marcos Civic Center, 1 Civic Center Drive in San Marcos.
There is no charge for admission or parking. The civic center is located within walking distance to the Sprinter station.
