By Gina Yarbrough

San Diego, CA–The San Diego Foundation will host its inaugural San Diego Fundraising conference on Sept. 8 to support professional development for community-based nonprofit organizations.

The conference’s theme is “Raising the Tide” and it is designed to be an accessible opportunity for local fundraising professionals to learn from national philanthropy experts.

The event will take place at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront Hotel. It will feature several speakers, including Stuart; Harvey McKinnon, one of North America’s leading fundraising experts; and Gail Perry, one of the foremost experts in the field of philanthropy and nonprofits, among others to be announced. Copies of books by two speakers will be included as part of conference registration.

Early bird registration is $100 and is available through June 14. Regular registration will be $125 and available June 15 until the event sells out. The fair market value of the conference exceeds the cost of regular registration. For more information or to register, visit SDFoundation.org/SDFC.

The San Diego Fundraising Conference is sponsored by Alliance Healthcare Foundation, Alliant Insurance Services Inc., Blair Search Partners, BQuest Foundation, The Conrad Prebys Foundation, Cox Communications, David C. Copley Foundation, the Fundraising Academy at National University, Manpower Temporary Services, Price Philanthropies Foundation, PNC Bank, Rancho Santa Fe Foundation, Stiefel Behner Charitable Fund, and the University of California San Diego.
