DEL MAR–Multi-platinum-selling rock band Third Day has played to millions of fans in numerous sold-out arenas around the world. It has garnered 25 No. 1 singles, and multiple Grammy® and Dove® Awards. Some of their biggest hits include “Nothing at All”, “My Hope is You” and “Call My Name.” Billboard magazine describes Third Day as “not only one of the best Christian bands of the ’90s but one of the best rock bands, period.”
Joining Third Day in the Come Together Festival on the Heineken Grandstand Stage is Grammy-nominated, American Music Award and multiple GMA Dove Award winners MercyMe. The band first gained notice with its crossover hit, “I Can Only Imagine.” With 23 number-one songs, including “Word of God Speak,” MercyMe has sold over 6 million units in CD and DVD sales, while being one of few Contemporary Christian music groups to have had all of their recordings certified Gold or Platinum.
Plus, there’s other great Christian contemporary music featured on the Fairgrounds that same day. Jamie Grace will be on the Plaza Stage at 1 p.m. OC Supertones will play the Coors Light Rock On Stage at 9 p.m.

The 2011 San Diego County Fair’s wheels are in motion to “Race to the Fair” for 22 days starting Friday, June 10, through Monday, July 4. (The Fair will be closed the first three Mondays, June 13, 20 and 27.)
Gates open daily at 11 a.m., Tuesdays through Fridays, and 10 a.m., Saturdays, Sundays and Monday, July 4. Admission is $13 for adults; $7 for ages 6-12 and 62 and older; and free for ages 5 and younger.
