OTAY MESA–A 110 acre brush fire that broke out Thursday afternoon in Otay Mesa is threatening nearby businesses and apartments.
San Diego Police Department have issued a mandatory evacuation south of St. Andrews / west of La Media / east of Cactus Rd. Majority businesses in these areas.
Authorities also issued a Sig Alert for the areas of southbound Brittania and La Media. Border Express Airport (CBX) North and Southbound are closed.Southbound traffic on La Media Road will close to assist fire operations.
