San Diego, CA–Retro TV, the original classic television diginet, has added San Diego to its footprint.

Viewers in the market can now find Retro TV on KSDY-TV channel 50.3. The station, owned and operated by International Communications Network, Inc. (KSDY 50), brings over 2 million households to Retro TV’s reach.

The long-running network airs classic and beloved programming from all decades such as “Doctor Who,”  “The Lucy Show,” “and the “Ray Bradbury Theater,” recently added Johnny Depp series “21 Jump Street,” acclaimed crime series “Wiseguy,” and popular 1960s series “Danger Man” and “The Saint,” starring Sir Roger Moore of “James Bond” fame. The diginet, also the exclusive home to the iconic soap opera “The Doctors,” launched its first original production, “Dracula’s Kung Fu Theatre,” to rave reviews in 2021.

“San Diego is a fantastic market for the network,” says Retro TV president Joel Wertman, “and we’re thrilled to partner with International Communications Network, Inc. that has such a long-standing, great reputation.”

“Retro TV provides top-notch entertainment, and we’re excited to add them to the KSDY family,” said Michelle Diaz Agha, Chief Operating Officer of International Communications Network, Inc. (KSDY 5O).

The news comes after a year of exceptional growth for Retro TV, which added over 14.4 million households to its reach with 10 additional markets in 2022. Thus far in 2023, the network has already added Charleston, South Carolina; Washington, D.C.; Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas; and Des Moines, Iowa to their roster, with sights set on additional launches in the coming weeks.

Retro TV was one of the first digital broadcast networks launched in 2005. Available across the United States, Retro TV celebrates the best in classic television with your favorites from way back when. Programming includes great hits like the classic “Doctor Who,” “Life with Betty” starring Betty White, “The Mickey Rooney Show,” “Naked City,” “The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes,” “The Lucy Show,” “The Ray Bradbury Theater,” and “21 Jump Street.”. The network is also the exclusive home to the iconic soap opera “The Doctors,” and in 2021 added the original series “Dracula’s Kung Fu Theatre.”
