RAMONA–Hundred are expected to head to the backcountry next month for a day filled with art and wine.
Six local Ramona businesses will each host a wine barrel hand-painted by local artists in a “Parade of Barrels” to usher in the 3rd annual Ramona Art and Wine Festival on November 7.
The wine barrels are on display prior to being auctioned at the festival at its new location at Begent Ranch, 18528 Highland Valley Road in Ramona.
In addition to the auction of the barrels, renowned local artist Chuck McPherson will do an on-site (en plein air) painting to be auctioned off at the end of the day. To purchase festival tickets, visit http://ramonaartandwinefest.net.
All proceeds from the event benefit the Ramona H.E.A.R.T. Mural Project, a 501(c)(3) corporation created to increase tourism, expand community pride, and celebrate cultural heritage through an outdoor visual arts program.
