San Diego, CA–San Diego police are investigating gun threats made to students at Taft Middle School in Serra Mesa on Friday afternoon, authorities said.
The police department received 911 calls regarding a person making threats on campus. Officers arrived at the scene and determined there was “no active threat” at the school, the department posted in a tweet.
Officers assisted in dismissing the students from the campus. Parents were able to reunite with their children in the Guild parking lot near the library.
San Diego School Police are investigating the incident.
