SAN DIEGO—A woman suspected of killing her spouse was arrested by police on Tuesday.
On June 5, at about 6 p.m., San Diego police received a radio call to check the welfare of a female inside of an apartment in the 7700 block of Mission Gorge Road.
Officers found 38-year-old Russina Vale had suffered stab wounds to her upper torso and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Russina’s spouse, 39-year-old Tiffany Nowden-Vale, was identified as a suspect in this case.
On Tuesday at 1:15 p.m., a U.S. Marshal’s Task Force located Nowden-Vale inside of a residence in the 2200 block of Market Street in San Diego. She was taken into custody without incident.
Nowden-Vale will be charged with murder and booked into the Las Colinas Women’s Detention Facility.
