Pet Of The Week: Vladimir

November 21, 2016 By sdcnews

vladimirENCINITAS–Vladimir is pet of the week at Rancho Coastal Humane Society. He’s a 7 month-old, 44 pound, Siberian Husky mix puppy.

Vladimir is still a puppy, but he has no idea that he’s already a big dog. Keep in mind that Siberian Huskies are strong, compact, working dogs. They were bred to pull sleds long distances. Vladimir needs a family that will make sure he gets plenty of exercise such as long walks or runs, and a trip to dog park or beach.

He knows, “Sit, Down, High 5, and Give Me 10.” He’s very smart and would be happy to learn more tricks in exchange for treats or a tummy rub.

The $145 adoption fee for Vladimir includes medical exam, vaccinations, neuter, and microchip.

For more information, call (760) 753-6413, visit Rancho Coastal Humane Society at 389 Requeza Street in Encinitas, or visit www.SDpets.org. Kennels and Cattery open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day but Tuesday.
