ENCINITAS–Owl is pet of the week at Rancho Coastal Humane Society.
He’s a 2-year-old, 12 pound, male, domestic short-hair cat with a brown tabby coat.
How do you get a cat named after a bird? Owl kitty has big eyes. He uses them to follow his curiosity and check out every room of his home. While we’ve all heard the old saying about curiosity and cats, that’s never going to be a problem for Owl. He loves finding a nice quiet perch on a window sill where he can watch the birds outside.
Owl was transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society through the FOCAS (Friends of County Animal Shelters) program.
The $100 adoption fee for Owl includes medical exams, vaccinations, neuter, and registered microchip.
