Pet Of The Week: Cake Pop

August 20, 2015 By sdcnews

Cake Pop

Cake Pop

ENCINITAS–“Cake Pop” is pet of the week at Rancho Coastal Humane Society in Encinitas. She’s a 3 year-old, 7 pound, Torbie cat. (That’s a Tortoiseshell / Tabby mix.)

The care providers in the cattery say that she’s very affectionate and she can be a little bit sensitive. She recently had a litter of kittens. They were adopted at another animal shelter. Cake Pop has been transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society through the FOCAS program. Her days as a “single mom” are over. She can’t wait to lean back, prop up her paws, and relax. She’s an easy going girl who loves attention. Cake Pop is very affectionate. She will do great in a home with adults and maybe some older kids.

The $100 adoption fee for Cake Pop includes medical exam, vaccinations, spay, and microchip.

For more information, call (760) 753-6413, visit Rancho Coastal Humane Society at 389 Requeza Street in Encinitas, or visit www.SDpets.org. Kennels and Cattery open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day but Tuesday.
