SAN DIEGO–A female pedestrian walking along the train tracks Sunday was struck by a northbound Amtrak Train, the North Coastal Sheriff’s Transit Enforcement Unit reports.
The collision occurred on the railroad track near Damon Avenue and Santa Fe Street in San Diego. The train was traveling at approximately 60 miles per hour when an adult female walking northbound along the track was struck from the rear. The female was transported to Scripps La Jolla Hospital, her condition is unknown.
