Palomar Pomerado Health to hold education classes

SAN DIEGO–Palomar Pomerado Health is hosting free and low-cost health education classes and screenings led by physicians and other professionals.

Classes are listed below:

HeartSaver First Aid

Thursday, July 22, 6 – 9 p.m.

Pomerado Hospital, Conference Room C/D, Third Floor, 15615 Pomerado Road, Poway.

This class provides instruction on the general principles of first aid, as well as medical, injury and environmental emergencies.

To register, call The HealthSource at (800) 628-2880, or visit www.pph.org and click on “Classes and Events.”

Fee: $45 / participant – registration required

Meditation

Thursdays, July 22 and 29, 6 – 7 p.m.

Pomerado Outpatient Pavilion, Education Classroom, First Floor, 15611 Pomerado Road, Poway.

Instructor Matt Alavi, L.Ac. provides tips and techniques for a more peaceful existence.
