July 16, 2012 By sdcnews

SAN MARCOS–Palomar Health has launched the opening of the new Palomar Health expresscare health center in San Elijo Hills, the district’s fourth walk-in clinic inside an Albertsons/Sav-on Pharmacy.

“It is with great enthusiasm that I announce that the new Palomar Health expresscare in San Elijo Hills is open for business and servicing San Marcos,” says Sheila Brown, Palomar Health Chief Clinical Outreach Officer.

The Palomar Health expresscare in San Elijo Hills opened this week at 1571 S. San Elijo Road, San Marcos, and – like its predecessors in Escondido, Rancho Peñasquitos ( San Diego) and Temecula (Riverside County) – will treat patients two years and older. A formal grand opening is being planned for later this year.

“We appreciate the strong partnership we have with SUPERVALU and Albertsons stores and are excited to provide additional medical services to the communities that we serve,” says Michael H. Covert, President and CEO of Palomar Health. “This is the future of medicine in many ways, our ability to meet the needs of our citizens at a lower cost and quicker pace in today’s world.”
