OCEANSIDE–Experience the majesty of California from land to coast in an exhibition featuring the work of renowned plein air painters from Califonia.
Gold Coast: Paintings of Southern California by the California Art Club features over 40 paintings in oil, watercolor, pastel and acrylic by signature artists of the California Art Club.
The exhibition celebrates the club’s centennial with a juried exhibition that will be on view in the Oceanside Museum of Art Groves Auditorium Gallery from April 30 through June 12.
The exhibition opens to the public on Saturday, April 30 from 1 to 4 p.m. with a public reception for the artists in the exhibition. The reception is free with museum admission and complimentary for California Art Club members and museum members. Light refreshments will be provided.
Scott Prior, a California Art Club artist, will do a live painting demonstration outside on the museum’s terrace from 2 to 3 p.m.
