OCEANSIDE–The Oceanside Public Library invites families to Tide-pool Treasures presented by Birch Aquarium Scripps Institution of Oceanography.
The program will be held on July 22 at 3 p.m. in the Mission Branch Library Community Rooms, 3861-B Mission Avenue.
Sea urchins, hermit crabs, snails, and sea stars are just a few of the creatures that call the tide pool home. Through the use of puppets and live animals, children will explore the world of tide pools and learn how these creatures find food, protect themselves, and move about in their ever-changing tide-pool habitat.
This is a free event for children of all ages and is sponsored by the Friends of the Oceanside Public Library.
