OCEANSIDE–More than 30 local authors, publishers and representatives from local chapters of Romance Writers of America, Sisters-in-Crime, and Mystery Writers of America will be featured at the third annual celebration of National Authors’ Day with the North County Authors and Poets (NCAP).
Keynote speaker is Karla Olson, who has been in the publishing industry for over 20 years. Olson has been involved in the creation of hundreds of books representing traditional and custom publishing and packaging. She is also on the Board of Directors and co-chair of Publishers and Writers of San Diego and the founder of Read-Local San Diego. There will be theme speakers on mystery, romance and children’s genres as well throughout the day.
The event runs 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Nov. 6 at the Civic Center Library Community Rooms, 330 N. Coast Highway in downtown Oceanside.
The free event is co-sponsored by the Friends of the Oceanside Public Library.
