MTS To Increase Trolley Service For San Diego County Credit Union Holiday Bowl Game

December 27, 2018 By sdcnews

SAN DIEGO–Fans attending the San Diego County Credit Union Holiday Bowl game December 31 are encouraged to ride the trolley.

The SDCCU Stadium parking lot opens at noon with the Dexcom NYE Pre Game Party starting at 1:30 p.m. and a 4:00 p.m. game kickoff.

For easy transportation to SDCCU Stadium, the Sycuan Green Line Trolley is a great alternative to driving to the game, providing direct service between downtown, Mission Valley and East County with connections to the UC San Diego Blue Line and Orange Line. Trolleys will depart all stations every 15 minutes throughout the day. Beginning at 11:30 a.m. until kickoff, Trolleys will depart every 7.5 minutes between downtown and the stadium.

Fans can purchase a 1-Day Pass on smartphones at any time prior to boarding with the Compass Cloud App. For game day special service information, route maps, schedules and Day Pass information, visit www.sdtms.com. MTS has free parking at many of its Sycuan Green Line Trolley stations. Some of the most convenient locations include:

* Old Town Transit Center: 412 free parking spots
* Grantville Trolley Station: 404 free parking spots
* El Cajon Transit Center: 469 free parking spots
*Grossmont Transit Center 220 free parking spaces
*La Mesa Transit Center 236 free parking spaces

For further information on all game day items including bag policy, list of banned items can be accessed at www.holidaybowl.com

Tickets for the game are still available and can be purchased by visiting www.HolidayBowl.com. They can also be purchased at SDCCU Stadium, Window F on game day beginning at 9 a.m. Over 800 service members are attending this year’s game thanks to Sycuan’s generous support of the Holiday Bowl “Treat Your Troops” program.
