December 5, 2020 By sdcnews

CARLSBAD–A motorcyclist is dead after he lost control and collided into a building in Carlsbad on Friday, according to the Carlsbad chp traffic report.

The single vehicle collision occurred at approximately 3:15 p.m. on Faraday Avenue and Palmer Way. Police officers found the 29-year-old rider, of Encinitas, and his green Kawasaki motorcycle near the location of the accident. He later died at the scene.

Authorities believe the motorcyclist was traveling westbound on Faraday Avenue at an unknown rate of speed when he lost control and collided into a building. Investigators do not believe any other motorists were involved.

The preliminary investigation shows that alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the collision, but the investigation is still underway. If you or a loved one suffers an injury on private property, it’s important to have a premises liability lawyer mesquite tx to know your options for securing compensation for the resulting damages.

Faraday Avenue to Orion way was temporarily closed for an extended period of time as officers investigated the cause of the collision. The road is now open.
