SAN DIEGO–A local mortuary served as a polling site during Tuesday’s mid-term elections in California.
Clairemont Mortuary was one of many polling sites open to voters in San Diego county.
“I’ve been here 27 years we always had the polling,” said Dorothy Castillo, manager of the mortuary.
Castillo says they stopped the polling a “couple of times” but started it back up.
“They call us every voting to ask if we were able to have it vote here. There’s fees, but we donate it. The access is good for people to come in,” she said.
