ESCONDIDO–A missing 27-year-old woman who was last seen at Pala Casino Wednesday night was located Friday in Escondido, according to authorities.
Katelyn Schwindt was in good health and told Escondido police that her being reported missing was a misunderstanding.
On June 25, at about 10:35 p.m., Sheriff’s deputies from the San Marcos station received a radio call regarding a missing person. The reporting party told deputies that Katelyn Schwindt posted a message on her Facebook page indicating she was at the Pala Casino the night prior. She thought she was possibly drugged and assaulted.
