Vista, CA–A three-year-old girl reported missing Tuesday afternoon has been found safe in Vista, the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department said.
Deputies located the missing child just after 3 p.m. on the family’s property. She was then reunited with her family.
The Sheriff’s Communications Center received a call at around 12 p.m. from the mother of a three-year-old girl. She told the dispatcher that she had last seen her daughter about 20 minutes earlier at their home in the 300 block of West California Avenue.
Deputies, volunteers from Sheriff’s Search and Rescue, and the Sheriff’s ASTREA helicopter had searched for the girl in the area.
