MIRA MESA–Bring the family and join San Diego Miramar College science professors for science fun from 9 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturday, March 18 in the college’s state-of-the-art science labs.
Free workshops and demonstrations include How to Get DNA from Anything, Sensory Perception, Marine Critters, Blast Off with Diet Coke and Slime, and Make Like MacGyver. Group sessions will begin at 9, 10 and 11 a.m.
“In its third year, this taste of college and fun experience for children of all ages is a popular event,” said Dr. Sandra Slivka, Director of the Southern California Biotechnology Center at Miramar College.
