Atkins will be giving a Tour:Smart seminar on February 10 at Cuyamaca Community College at 11 a.m. A distillation of Atkins’ thirty plus years in the music business, his book, Tour:Smart and Break the Band, and corresponding presentation contain not only valuable insight into his methods, but an unusually candid discussion of mistakes and failures. They cover routing strategies, strategies to sustain a career, sponsorships, geography, guerilla marketing and entrepreneurial activity in the music industry.
