SAN DIEGO–Detectives from the Sheriff’s Sexual Assault Unit arrested a Mar Vista High School ROTC Instructor for engaging in sexual conduct with a female student.
On April 8, a Sheriff’s School Resource officer received information that the teacher, Martin Albert Gallegos, 48, was having a relationship with a female student.
On Sunday, Gallegos was arrested and booked into the San Diego Central Jail for five counts of sexual conduct with a minor. Gallegos has since posted bail. His court date is set for April 19.
