EL CAJON–Sheriff Department homicide detectives are investigating the stabbing death of a 26-year-old male in unincorporated El Cajon.
Deputies say the stabbing occurred early Sunday morning in the 100 block of Sierra Vista Drive Inn.
Several men got into an argument, which quickly turned into a fight involving various types of weapons. During the fight one of the men was stabbed and transported to a local hospital for treatment, but later died.
Several other men were also taken to the hospital for treatment for various non-life threatening injuries.
A cause and manner of death will be determined by the Medical Examiner’s Office.
