SAN DIEGO–A federal judge sentenced a man Monday to 141 months in custody for sex trafficking of a minor.
Judge William Hayes ordered Charles Duan Hamilton to be supervised for 10 years following his release from prison based on Hamilton’s conviction for one count of sex trafficking of a minor. Hamilton entered his guilty on November 9, 2010. The court also ordered Hamilton to pay $3,200.07 in restitution to the minor female victim.
According to court records, Hamilton admitted that between April and June 2010, he recruited, transported and offered a 16-year-old female minor for prostitution in San Diego County and elsewhere. He was arrested on June 25, 2010 in Seattle, Washington.
