Man Robs Walgreens Pharmacy

March 13, 2016 By sdcnews

SAN DIEGO–Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Robbery Unit are asking for assistance from the public to help identify and locate an unknown suspect wanted for robbing a Walgreens Pharmacy in the Chollas View area.

On March 6, at about 12:15 p.m., an unknown man entered the Walgreens Pharmacy, located at 602 Euclid Avenue, in San Diego. The male gave a demand note to an employee at the pharmacy, which stated he was armed with a gun. The suspect demanded and was given several different types of narcotics. The man fled the store on foot and was last seen walking towards the intersection of Euclid Avenue and Market Street.

Detectives describe the man as a white male, 35 to 45-years-old, five feet, seven inches tall, medium build, and was unshaven. He was wearing black shorts, a gray hooded sweatshirt, a dark colored knit cap with the words “California Republic” in white, black sneakers, and was carrying a dark colored backpack.

Anyone with information on this case should call the San Diego Police Department’s Robbery Unit at (619) 531-2299, or the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at (888) 580-8477. Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to an arrest in this case. Anonymous email and text messages can be sent via www.sdcrimestoppers.org.
