SAN MARCOS–A 30 year-old male is recovering from face injuries after an altercation with another male Thursday evening.
Sheriff’s deputies say Elvis Gonzalez was involved a physical altercation with suspect Jesse Rodriguez. The incident took place at 9:45 p.m. in the driveway of 209 Avenida De Suerte. During the argument Gonzalez received an approximately eight inch laceration to the left side of his face. The laceration is believed to have been caused by a beer bottle.
Gonzalez’ mother called 911. While waiting for medics to arrive, Gonzalez was in and out of consciousness. Upon the medics arrival, Gonzalez was transported to Palomar Hospital where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries. He was treated for his injuries and released from the hospital.
Rodriguez is described as a Hispanic male adult, approximately 28 years of age, brown hair, brown eyes, 5 feet 6 inches tall and wearing unknown clothing. Prior to deputies arriving on scene, Rodriguez fled the scene on foot and is at large.
