Man Found Stabbed At Barona Indian Reservation

LAKESIDE–Sheriff’s department detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect who allegedly stabbed a man on the Barona Indian Reservation.

On September 29, at around 3:08 p.m., deputies from the Lakeside Substation received a call on the Barona Indian Reservation of an adult male with stab wounds. The victim was located in the 2000 block of Akuunyaa Way and transported to Sharp Memorial Hospital. The victim’s injuries are serious but not considered life threatening.

Detectives from the Lakeside Substation responded to the scene and are trying to identify a suspect and the motive for the stabbing.

If anyone has information about the incident they are encouraged to contact detectives at the Lakeside Substation.

You can also contact Crime Stoppers at (888) 580-8477 with any information and your information will remain anonymous. You may be eligible for up to a $1,000 reward for information leading to a felony arrest.
