Man Found Shot In San Marcos Park

SAN MARCOS–A man was shot early Saturday morning near Bradley Park in San Marcos,  Sheriff’s deputies say.

Carlsbad police says just after 3 a.m. they found the victim had suffered from several gunshot wounds in the 7200 block of Paseo Plomo in Carlsbad. The victim was transported to a local hospital where they underwent surgery and are expected to survive.

During their investigation Carlsbad Police discovered the shooting victim was shot near Bradley Park in San Marcos.

On July 15, at about 10:02 p.m., Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of gunshots in the area of Bradley Park. Deputies searched the area but were unable to locate a victim or a crime scene.

On July 16,  at about 03:18 a.m., Carlsbad police responded to a report of a male with several gunshot wounds in the 7200 block of Paseo Plomo in Carlsbad. The victim was transported to a local hospital where they underwent surgery and are expected to survive.

During their investigation Carlsbad Police discovered the shooting victim was shot in San Marcos. It is believed the victim was shot near Bradley Park. Sheriff’s detectives have assumed the investigation.
