OCEANSIDE–A man suffered a single gunshot wound to the abdomen at the Oceanside Transit Center Saturday evening, reports the Oceanside Police Department.
The victim was life flighted to Scripps La Jolla with non-life threatening injuries and is in stable condition. The victim told officers the suspect was staying at the Motel 6 on North Coast Highway. Officers went to the hotel and were able to gain entry into the suspect’s room, however the suspect was not in the room.
Officers believe the victim and suspect had a personal dispute before the shooting.
