SAN DIEGO–A man was found fatally stabbed Monday inside an apartment building in San Diego.
San Diego police just after 5 p.m. received calls from residents who reported a loud and violent disturbance inside an apartment in the 3600 block of 42nd Street.
Police officers and paramedics found a Hispanic male, approximately 45-years-old with multiple stab wounds to his upper body on the floor of the apartment. They provided first aid and the male was transported to a local hospital where he later died just before 8 p.m.
Several nearby residents described an unknown Hispanic male between five feet, two inches to and five feet, nine inches tall, between the ages of 19 to 25, running away from the apartment immediately after the disturbance. The man was believed to be wearing black shorts and could be the suspect in this case.
The victim’s name will be released after confirmation of his identity is made and his family is notified of his death.
