ESCONDIDO–Police officers found a 22 year-old man fatally shot in his vehicle Saturday morning, Escondido police said today.
At 7:40 a.m., police officers were called to the area of 1000 East Ohio Street in reference to a man found unconscious in a vehicle. Officers arrived on scene and located an adult male inside a car who had been fatally shot. The incident is now being investigated as a homicide. The victim has been identified as Joey Luis Porras, 22, of Escondido.
