San Diego, CA–A man standing on a platform at the Old Town Trolley station Saturday morning died after another man pushed him into an oncoming freight train, San Diego police said.
San Diego police received a call around 6:15 a.m. of the incident at the station. When officers arrived at the scene they located the victim with trauma to his upper body. The victim, in his 60s, died at the scene.
Two men were seen exiting a southbound trolley at the station. One of the two men pushed the victim into the train and fled the area.
Detectives described the suspect as a light-skinned man, 5 feet 7 to 5 feet 9 inches tall with a thin build. He was last seen wearing black clothing.
