CARLSBAD–One man was arrested after he pushed two females off a Carlsbad cliff Tuesday during an argument, a Carlsbad police spokesman said today.
Officers say the 17-year-old and a 18-year-old females were on Carlsbad Boulevard at Cerezo Drive with two adult males. An argument ensued and the two females were pushed from the cliff area by one of the males.
The females fell an estimated 10 to 15 feet to the beach below. The adult female sustained undetermined injuries and did not want medical transport. The juvenile female sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Scripts Medical Center in La Jolla.
Alcohol is thought to have played a role in the incident.
