OCEANSIDE—A brush fire this afternoon broke out in the San Luis Rey riverbed east of College Boulevard, Oceanside police said today.
Officers said the fast-moving blaze forced the evacuation of Del Rio Elementary School, residences on Andrew Jackson Street, and other surrounding streets.
